If you’re searching for coworking in Frederick, you’re probably looking for more than a desk and good WiFi. More remote workers, creatives, and entrepreneurs are searching for spaces that offer both productivity and genuine community.

Squadstyle is a wellness-focused coworking and social club located right off Thomas Johnson Drive in Frederick, MD. Every coworking membership includes gym and sauna access, creating an environment where healthy habits become part of your daily routine. When movement, recovery, and work exist under one roof, it becomes much easier to leave feeling better than when you arrived.

Bonding over wellness activities also creates a stronger sense of community. Whether you’re lifting, working, recovering in the sauna, or simply sharing space with like-minded people, Squadstyle makes it easy to connect with others who value wellbeing, creativity, and personal growth.

To paint you a picture, Squadstyle is split into two connected spaces.

One half is a shared workspace designed as an alternative to working from home. We have soundproof phone booths for calls and meetings, along with two private offices that can be rented part-time or full-time by professionals and businesses. When the offices are not occupied by tenants, members can also reserve them throughout the day for focused work, meetings, or client sessions. Whether you’re a remote worker, freelancer, entrepreneur, or creative professional, the space is designed to support focused work without feeling isolated.

The other half of the space is what many members call a hidden gem in Frederick. Our gym combines high-level equipment with an intentionally designed atmosphere that feels welcoming, clean, and inspiring. From Life Fitness, Rogue, and Concept2 equipment to turf with a sled and a dedicated outdoor workout area, every detail was chosen with intention.

The gym includes free weights, squat racks, cable towers, cardio equipment, and recovery tools like resistance bands, Airex pads, straps, belts, landmine attachments, a Hypervolt massage gun, stretching tables, and guided mobility routines. During the spring and fall, we open the large garage door to create an indoor-outdoor training experience that completely changes the energy of the space.

And yes, there’s also a disco ball.

Community is at the center of everything we do. Squadstyle hosts annual events, wellness gatherings, and creates a music-driven environment where members can lounge, connect, and genuinely enjoy spending time together. More than a coworking space or gym in Frederick, Squadstyle is designed to feel like a modern third space for adults.

The club itself is member-driven and operates without staff onsite throughout the day. Every membership begins with a scheduled tour led by our local Community Manager. From there, members help maintain the standard and culture of the space by cleaning up after themselves and respecting the shared environment we’ve built together.

Once you’ve toured the club and completed onboarding, you may be invited to join the Squadstyle community. Our members come from different industries, backgrounds, and cultures, but share similar values around respect, wellness, creativity, and connection. We’re all PLUR here.

Once you become a member, you’ll receive your own key and gain 24/7 access through either a physical key fob or the app. We partnered with Gym Master to make it easy for members to access the space, reserve private offices, and book sauna sessions.

Squadstyle is also home to many wellness professionals who use the space to run their own businesses. Personal trainers, physical therapists, massage therapists, chiropractors, and other practitioners can book space for their clients while still being part of a larger community. Because of the diversity within the club, this naturally creates a strong referral network both inside the physical space and within our digital community.

If you walk through the gym, you’ll find our patio lounge and traditional sauna area. Our founder and CEO is from Germany and brought that influence into the sauna experience at Squadstyle. It’s designed to feel calm, intentional, and restorative — unlike a typical commercial gym sauna in Frederick.

The sauna is included in every membership and can be reserved directly through the app after onboarding. Members follow shared sauna etiquette to maintain a clean, respectful, and elevated experience for everyone.

This is coworking in Frederick designed around wellness, movement, and community. It’s a place where you can work, train, recover, and connect without constantly driving between locations.

One of our members, Alex, described it best:

“I set timers for myself. I work for 45 minutes, then leave my desk and move around in the gym. No place has ever made it this convenient. I feel more productive and even sleep better. It’s everything I was looking for.”

If you’d like to experience Squadstyle for yourself, you can schedule a tour and request a free day pass to try the space after your visit. Our Community Manager will help get you set up, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable in the space.
