Hannah King

Owner, Squadstyle

Born and raised in Germany, Hannah’s journey to the U.S. began with a leap into an Au Pair program in 2015. That experience not only introduced her to a new country but also sparked her passion for wellness and connection. Splitting her heart between two homes - Frankfurt and Frederick - has deepened her appreciation for the transformative power of prioritizing health and living life with community at its center. â€‹

I love both homes and never want to choose between them,” Hannah shares. “But it’s also taught me that belonging doesn’t come from a physical place — it comes from the people you surround yourself with.” This belief inspired Hannah's deep commitment to creating spaces where connection thrives and where community isn’t just something you join - it’s something you feel.

In 2017, she launched Squadstyle Lifestyle, turning a small Facebook group into a successful holistic personal training business. Working out of a two-car garage, Hannah empowered women to feel strong and confident in their bodies. Along the way, she discovered the incredible potential that comes from running your own business. Driven by a desire to inspire others to take that leap, she began dreaming of a bigger space — one that would bring wellness professionals and remote workers together in a supportive, shared environment.

In 2021, that dream became a reality with the launch of Squadstyle (formerly known as SL Studio), a coworking space, gym, and wellness club designed to seamlessly integrate productivity, wellness, and community. Hannah’s vision was clear: to create a space where people could focus on themselves and realize that wellness isn’t a luxury — it’s the foundation for everything in life.

When we all start focusing a bit more on ourselves than everything else, we start prioritizing our own wellness and understand it’s the foundation for everything in life,” she explains. “You’ll be a better business owner, partner, and friend when you take care of yourself first.”

Hannah’s love for bringing people together is at the heart of Squadstyle. Wellness, for her, is an endless journey of exploration, and she’s passionate about sharing that adventure with her community. Whether she’s organizing events, encouraging others to take the leap into entrepreneurship, or simply creating a welcoming environment, she’s building more than a business — she’s building a culture around wellness.

What started in a two-car garage is now a growing community where people come to recharge, connect, and chase their dreams. Today, Squadstyle is more than just a coworking and wellness space —it’s a culture based on the belief that when we prioritize a healthy lifestyle, anything is possible.

Jimmy King

Community Manager
jimmy@worknwellness.com

I’ve worked in the fitness industry since I was 16, starting out at the front desk of Gold’s Gym in Frederick. I fell in love with the environment right away - the people, the energy, and the feeling of being surrounded by others who are showing up to better themselves.

Today, I work full-time in business development within government contracting. Having a remote job gives me the freedom to stay connected to my passion for wellness. Over the years, I’ve supported Hannah and Squadstyle from the very beginning - from brainstorming in the early startup days, to helping with the physical buildout, to being one of the first “members” working from the coworking space, taking calls in the phone booths, and training clients in the gym.

As a Community Manager, I’m focused on connecting with members, giving tours, and helping grow the Squadstyle community through authentic relationships and consistent outreach. My goal is always to help people feel welcomed and to meet them exactly where they’re at.

In my free time, I’m passionate about building healthy habits - not just through strength training, but through sauna sessions, nutritious cooking, social connection, and exploring all the different dimensions of health. I see wellness as a personal journey where any habit, in any area of life, follows the same flow of change. I’ve missed being in the fitness industry, and I’m excited to step into a more official role here at Squadstyle and help introduce even more people to this amazing environment.

Aleks Arsin

Virtual Community Manager
squadstyle@worknwellness.com

Originally from Austria, I came to the U.S. in 2016 as an Au Pair — just like Hannah. We met during our time in Maryland and stayed close even after I moved to L.A. to pursue a career in film and creative work. I’ve always been drawn to creative spaces and meaningful conversations, so building community comes naturally.

As Squadstyle’s Virtual Community Manager, I keep the gears turning behind the scenes. I manage member communication, draft our monthly newsletter, and keep our online presence fresh across the website and socials. With a background in film producing and a love for building community, I’m here to make sure every member feels seen, supported, and in the loop. Whether it’s solving a problem or sharing what’s new, I help create a space where people can focus, connect, and thrive.
